Complete General Dentistry Using State-of-the-Art Technology

Preventative Dentistry

Although we are renowned for our restorative and cosmetic treatments, the best way to care for your teeth is to keep problems from occurring in the first place. Dr. Chad LaCour's preventative treatments can reduce your risk for decay, gum disease, and related concerns. Routine cleanings and exams are essential. Sealants are another important treatment, especially for younger patients. Finally, fluoride treatments can strengthen your teeth and prevent enamel erosion.

Root Canal Therapy

We offer root canal therapy to relieve symptoms and prevent further infection. During the procedure, Dr. LaCour will use the HyFlex® nickel titanium rotary system to remove bacteria and decayed material from your tooth. After filling your tooth with a soft rubber compound, he will top it with a custom-made dental crown. Like many patients, you may believe that root canal therapy will be very unpleasant. However, we use laser therapy to minimize discomfort, and we also offer several types of sedation.

Tooth Extractions

If you have a compromised tooth, Dr. LaCour will always attempt to restore it. However, in cases of severe damage, extraction may be the right solution. If you do require tooth removal, we will always recommend the most appropriate restorative option. Dr. LaCour also offers wisdom tooth extraction, including the removal of impacted teeth. Thanks to our effective local anesthesia, and optional sedation, your extraction should involve minimal discomfort.

Periodontal Care

Gum disease can have devastating effects for your oral health and appearance. The condition can cause gum irritation, tissue recession, tooth loss, and even bone infection. We offer a full spectrum of periodontal treatments. In many cases, a deep cleaning is the most conservative and effective solution. Dr. LaCour will eliminate pockets of bacteria and smooth uneven patches on your dental roots. Other options include antibiotics, antibacterial solutions, laser therapy, and gum grafting.

TMJ Disorder Therapy

If you struggle with facial pain, jaw stiffness, difficulty eating, headaches, and related symptoms, you may suffer from temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder. TMJ disorder results when your jaw joints are damaged or when the surrounding tissues are inflamed. Often, Dr. LaCour will treat TMJ disorder with custom-made occlusal splints. These devices will realign your jaw to reduce pressure on your joints. In other cases, BOTOX® Cosmetic can be an effective option. The injections will help your overactive jaw muscles to relax, easing facial pain.

Stem Cell Therapy

Dr. LaCour is committed to using advanced technology to improve your care. For this reason, he proudly offers stem cell therapy. Because stem cells take on the characteristics of the surrounding cells, this treatment can speed your healing after gum grafting. It can also improve your recovery following implant placement or other types of oral surgery. He will take a sample of your own stem cells from your hip. After purifying them in our in-office machine, he will inject them in the treatment area.

Laser Dentistry

If you have suffered gum recession due to periodontal disease or some other cause, you may need a gum graft. Dr. LaCour proudly offers the Puros® Dermis Allograft and the AlloDerm® gum graft. These advanced methods eliminate the need for soft tissue removal on the roof of your mouth. Stem cell therapy can speed your healing following a gum graft.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a serious health condition that can cause a patient to wake up repeatedly throughout the night. In addition to daytime fatigue and sleepiness, the disorder can increase the risk of more serious health conditions such as high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke. We offer simple, comfortable oral appliances to help open the airway and restore normal sleeping patterns.

Orthodontics

Dr. LaCour offers three types of orthodontics to meet our patients' varied needs: traditional braces, Six Month Smiles®, and ClearCorrect. Orthodontic treatment not only provides straighter teeth and a more attractive smile. Your results could also improve your ability to brush and floss properly, decreasing your risk of decay and gum disease, and protecting your oral health for years to come.
